Mezco Toyz's Metropolis 1926, Maria action figure.  Although not a perfect duplication of  Parody (Futura), the figure still pays homage to the classic robot.  The scene reproduced here is the scene in which Joh Frederson is introduced to Futura for the first time by Rotwang.
    Randy Bowen's beautiful creation,
Bionica, Bride of Metropolis.
This character embodies an amalgamation of both the Bride of Frankenstein and Metropolis.

Following Freddie Mercury's work on the Moroder version of Metropolis, Mercury, along with the rest of his band, Queen, shot a video for their single, Radio Ga Ga.  The video used several scenes from the movie as well as set design inspired by the film.
Madonna also used a Metropolis inspired set design and a quote from the movie for the video that accompanied her single, Express Yourself.
* These images came from a fantastic German Metropolis site that illustrates just how much these videos were influenced by Metropolis.  Click on the images to check the site out.
